Poplar is a public benefit corporation, devoted to transforming our health care system for the better. Poplar is a national network of independent lifestyle medicine primary care practices across the United States. Poplar grew out of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, a professional organization devoted to promoting lifestyle medicine int he United States and beyond. Poplar started in 2021 with a core group in California, Delaware, Texas, and Florida. We have been growing ever since.
Poplar changes the game of healthcare, by providing value based contracts to its member practices. In contrast to almost every other entity in our healthcare system, Poplar member practices are actually paid to keep patients healthy.
While we are independent practices and geographically dispersed, we share a commitment to our mission, and to a philosophical approach to healthcare that is fundamentally different.
